Um, this is nothing new. Research has been showing for years that medical marijuana is safe, that marijuana simply doesn't cause the same lung damage that LEGAL cigarettes cause, and that it has less side effects than a lot of LEGAL drugs.

Yet some people will continue to reject this research performed by educated scientists, and still insist that anyone who smokes it is some kind of crazy hippie who just wants to sit around, get high, watch TV, and is a general drain on society.
To anyone who makes that claim, I ask you to present your evidence that A) All this research is utterly bogus, and that marijuana is NOT in any way, shape, or form a safe and effective medication for certain conditions, and B) That pot smokers are generally welfare recipients who contribute nothing whatsoever to society.
I won't hold my breath waiting, LOL.. -
