    This story has a number of interesting possible interpretations..
    Some questions that might be cogent..
    1)How many of the parties involved had been consuming alcohol
    2)How frequently did Ms Merrick and Ms Highfield wander around the waterfront looking for drowning fishermen to rescue?
    3)How many of the participants knew each otherintimately before/after the "action"?
