Acorn had chances to open the books up and let everyone see if they were a sound group worthy of tax money . Now i guess they will fall into one big giant corrupt hole like many more to come. What i dont understand is the people that just defend acorn wether they are demed corrupt or not. I guess some people think corupt grups are OK as long as they favor one party or the other.

If anyone thinks that the Tea Party Rally on 9/12 had nothing to do with this they are kidding themselves. Congress got the message loud and clear. So did the O man. Pelosi was at her catatonic best today. Congress needs to launch a full investigation into this and also both Rathke brothers which will also bring the SEIU into light.

Sure in your little insulated world that rally had meaning. As if the people who showed up there have likely ever voted Democratic. As if the people who attended this event have any solutions for anything. Some idiot in my local paper was miming your ridiculous million figure which even the event organizers won't touch. Someone quoted ABC News from the stage but ABC never mentioned any such figure. The estimate from the DC Fire Department was between 60,000-75,000. What stake does does the fire department have in putting out erroneous figures as you have done? Again, it is simply Orwellian for you to so dramatically inflate the figures. When you cannot speak the truth why should we even listen?

You are the fringe, the extremes, this is not a movement, this is disaffected voters angry that their beliefs are not currently relevant. This is America and you can speak all you like, and to organize these events all you like. But when you start dickering with the facts don't be surprised when no one takes you seriously. I will let you get on with your little CJ as all the cons have apparently clustered on this board.
These ACORN people are idiots. If ACORN ever had any relevance they no longer will. But this is not the Democratic Party, this is not the Obama campaign. Of course it is in your sick little mind. And always will be.

Poor cons. The group was only getting a lousy 50 million dollars a year to begin. Now they'll have to rely on private donations (at least until the investigation is over). Even worse for cons is that ACORN isn't the only group that registers low income and minority voters. Guess, you'll have to blame some other group when you lose next year. ;-P

P.S. Cons? If you think we won't be watching each and every con "non-profit" like a hawk, think again. We'll expose you criminal clowns as hypocrites again and again because sooner or later cons will get trapped in their own game. Mark my words. We're already finding out how these teabagger demonstrations are being funded. Karma will bite you, cons. Trust me. ;-P-

poor libs ACORN is done, the Rathke brothers will come under investigation, and that will help bring the SEIU into focus. So much for Obamas statement that ACORN was going to help shape his administration. Dont think for one moment that the SIZE AND SCOPE of Saturdays demonstration didn't send a loud and clear message to the Democrats. If there were only -70,000 at the rally as the lying MSM and liberal pundits would like us to believe this would not be happening. Meso ,by the very tone and content of your response you admit this. Promoting and abetting prostitution, underage sex slavery, tax evasion, the illegal trafficking of human beings to be used as prostitutes, lying on federal applications, admitting to a murder all caught on tape and the libs on Prop are mum. Hey MESO where are the conservative non profit organizations that are under indictment and or investigation for RICO violations in 15 states. VOTER FRAUD. VOTER REGISTRATION FRAUD. 3500 dead people voting in Minnesota under a Commissioner of Elections who is a Democrat. . Nope nothing suspicious there. You can see for yourself what ACORN was willing to do . 30 years of lying on and fudging mortgage applications and we wonder why the economy is in the shape it is. How many thousands upon thousands upon thousands of mortgages should never have been granted to people who were unqualified and would eventually default. Carter, Clinton, Dodd, Waters, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Acorn, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Community Reinvestment Act, Now we see it, Now we see what went on. Karma? the Karma has already started and its coming after the Democrats. Meso and the Dems all of a sudden are upset that they have been out community organized. Typical Dems, the outrage was not over the illegal activities of Acorn but the fact that they got caught.

Good! If you find the kind of corruption in any group that gets federal dollars that we have found in ACORN please make sure it hits the front page of every newspaper so we can stamp them out, too.
"ACORN isn't the only group that registers low income and minority voters."
Yes, that's right. Maybe they can do a better job with more integrity with those dollars that would have gone to ACORN. -

It takes the people to clean up the corrupt goverment funded groups. They should wake up and check all of goverment funded groups that have grown to fat on our tax money. The next thing the people and Fox news will get cleaned up is in California. I will bet there will be a big march and push to get the water flowing back to the valley in California. We the people need to take back over and fix stupid goverment stuff.

In an as-yet unconfirmed story, flight activity between the cities of Baltimore, Washington DC, Los Angeles and the Central American nation of El Salvador have markedly increased over the past 3 weeks. Industry insiders have not yet offered an explanation for this increase, but welcome the economic activity.

On a possibly related matter....
*****
Congressional budget watchdogs are looking into allegations that Democrats have booked for the next 6 months government aircraft reserved for lawmakers. Republicans complain that the aircraft is intended for official government business, and they question why exactly so many Democrats are dominating the schedules of so many aircraft--for flights to El Salvador.

Not sure where this fits in...

After an unending marathon of one hideous, embarrassing episode after another to President Obama and the Democratic Party, Fox television host Glenn Beck announces yet another bombshell disclosure on tonight's program likely to bring the Obama administration into further disrepute. If that's possible.

The vote to defund Acorn in the senate was 87 to 9. I guess according the Jimmy Carter (the absurd) that means we have 87 "racists" in the Upper Chamber & in the house 345 "racists"

Ok..You got me on that one in my haste to be...well.. petty...Look,if those people at acorn are convicted of doing anything criminal then jail them, all of them.I especially despise people that take an organization that is meant to do good and drag it into the mud because of greed or any personal vendetta.

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign paid more than $800,000 to an offshoot of the liberal Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now for services the Democrat's campaign says it mistakenly misrepresented in federal reports.
An Obama spokesman said Federal Election Commission reports would be amended to show Citizens Services Inc. -- a subsidiary of ACORN -- worked in "get-out-the-vote" projects, instead of activities such as polling, advance work and staging major events as stated in FEC finance reports filed during the primary.
FEC spokeswoman Mary Brandenberger said it is not unusual for campaigns to amend reports, even regarding large sums of money.
But, said Blair Latoff, spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee: "Barack Obama's failure to accurately report his campaign's financial records is an incredibly suspicious situation that appears to be an attempt to hide his campaign's interaction with a left-wing organization previously convicted of voter fraud. For a candidate who claims to be practicing 'new' politics, his FEC reports look an awful lot like the 'old-style' Chicago politics of yesterday."
Money flows back and forth between ACORN, Citizens Services Inc., Project Vote and Communities Voting Together. ACORN posts job ads for Citizens Services and Project Vote. Communities Voting Together contributed $60,000 to Citizens Services Inc., for example, in November 2005, according to a posting on CampaignMoney.com. Project Vote has hired ACORN and CSI as its highest paid contractors, paying ACORN $4,649,037 in 2006 and CSI $779,016 in 2006, according to Terry of the Consumers Rights League. -
