video at 9/12 protest shows Fox News producer coaching crowd »
Posted By Progressive 4 months, 3 weeks ago in Political OpinionWe would expect that type of behavior from a producer of, say, a daytime talk show with a live studio audience like Oprah or Maury or Jerry, but from a cable news producer? Really?
I guess it wasn't enough for Fox News to promote the hell out of Glenn Beck's 9/12 death march – they also needed to incite the crowd – you know, get them nice and pumped up so they'd looked good for the cameras.
Fair & Balanced? More like Fake & Staged.

There is that hate rant at its best. Comparing a Nazi to other people. That brings in the holocaust and other things Nazi. But liberals have no shame.

These people from all networks do the same thing. I was in a band concert when I was in High School. The photographers had us pose for all of the "candid" shots. -

I've been to a rally or two. I have never observed the news people coaching the crowd.

Do you remember the Democratic convention in Denver? Do you recall how certain reporters tried to bait the crowd, and got harassed right back?

I grew up in the cable industry, and worked as a videographer and "Veejay" in my teens. The woman raising her arms had no Fox logo-ware on; she could have been anyone.

Further, even if she were a producer or director, this is part of their job description. It's common; remember, it's a business. I can tell you from personal experience that NBC, ABC and certainly your local cable affiliate has employees that do this. A non-story in my humble opinion.-

I've worked on network news programs and can tell you this is the sort of thing Standards and Practices used to frown upon.

Anything calling itself a "news" channel should be about covering news--not creating it.
The person in this video is more like the comedians who are hired to warm-up 3-camera sitcoms.
...and I never wore logo-ware on the job. -

Why should anyone be surprised...this is the same "activist" network that sent false plants in to create false stories at various ACORN offices...an organization that has enjoyed bi-partisan support...but then again, this is FoxNews...
