NY Times disappears Fox's history of attacking Obama as "racist" and a fascist »
Posted By Progressive 2 months, 1 week ago in Political NewsIn a September 21 article, The New York Times reported that President Obama "gave five back-to-back television interviews broadcast on Sunday," but engaged in an act of "Medici vengeance" and showed "a rare sign of frustration, and payback" by not "speak[ing] to 'Fox News Sunday.' " The Times reported that "the presidential slight" occurred because "Fox did not broadcast Mr. Obama's health care speech to Congress on Sept. 9," but the Times did not address that Fox News hosts have maligned Obama as a "racist" and repeatedly compared him to Hitler.

Oh please, Wolfie. Obama sat for a seven minute grinding from Bill O and you know as well as anyone that teleprompters are never used in interviews--even by the cluster Fox clowns like Beck--who use them to spread their own propaganda every day.

He does seem like he is coming off as sort of a "crybaby" by not going on to FOX news. If he (or any politician) can't stand up to tough questions then he really isn't acting the role of a leader. The other news networks asked nothing about how Van Jones got selected, almost nothing on the ACORN scandal, and was hardly challenged on opposing view points of his health care plan......nothing about needed tort reform or allowing people to purchase inurance outside of their state.

I think Obama is wise to be as accessible as he has been for all domestic and foreign media--that's why he's still so popular in the rest of the world. As a matter of fact, he's been more accessible than any previous President and has done more press conferences in eight months than Bush did in eight years.

Seems to me the previous President spent less time in the White House than any of his predecessors.

...it also seems he prevaricated about some weapons of mass destruction--but one certainly can't say he did nothing. No one ever drove this country into the ditch faster than W!

I don't think rational people take Fox serious. What I don't understand is how they get away with 1/2 of the stuff they do.

I know some will say freedom of the press, or freedom of speech, but when did the news with personal views become the norm....what happened to reporting the facts and allowing ME to decide how I interpet the story. -

When Obama refused to be interviewed at Fox he was speaking to less than half of FOX audience with all the MSM audience combined according to Nielsens ratings. So keep your delusions , not believing that Obama is economically, culturally and militarily incompetent, corrupt[ACORN],a pathological liar,anti-America,anti-white,anti-US Military,anti-CIA,anti-Police,anti-Veterans,islami... sympathizer.

I don't suppose you'd care to supply a link proving your assertion about the Nielsen ratings, would you?

...and I suppose you believe Obama hated his white mother, too?
Why do you think Islamic countries are the exception to his global popularity if he is an "islami... sympathizer"
In any event, Fox "News" no longer merits the legitimacy a sitting President would lend it by extending himself to be interviewed by Chris Wallace.

...that's why his attempts at bi-partisanship with regard to healthcare reform does not guarantee the support of Progressives who believe the wingnuts' demand for the exclusion of a public option is a sell-out to the insurance industry.

WHOA!bama should stay away from Fox News. We just fast-forward through anything he has to say, which is nothing.

However, the montage of WHOA!bama on 5 different netjerks saying/bloviating the EXACT same thing with the EXACT same facial gestures was priceless, and not only denotes his rote memorization for last Sunday's pog and dony show, it also showcased the mindlessness of his pied piper minions.
Can you imagine Mike Wallace asking intelligent questions, each one legitimate and therefore throwing WHOA!bama off-topic? Talk about a fish out of water.
