One-time Super Bowl hero Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison Tuesday for violating New York's stringent gun laws and immediatley began serving his sentence.

    The guy carried an unlicensed weapon in a public place. It doesn't matter who he is, what he does for a living or how sorry he is, he did the crime, he's gotta do the time.
