Who is Glenn Beck?
Reply
He's quite close to being borderline psychotic ... and yet ... Mainstream Media keeps pushing him ... and others like him in our faces ... as ... curiously ... having something important to say.
I would much MUCH rather be interested in my neighbor's opinions on politics than this empty suit ... hired as a spokesperson for a foreigner (Rupert Murdoch) ... who has an obsession with moving an entire nation (not his own) ... towards his own political world view.
As proof ... remember that 17 months ago ... Glenn Beck was employed by CNN ... and during that tenure, he bemoaned our national health care as an 'unmitigated failure' ....
... and that ... having been hired by Rupert Murdoch ... he transforms himself into a cheerleader for 'how great America's Health Care system is ... that it's the best in the world'.
That ... as I say ... is 'Rage For Hire'.
.
That ... as I say ... is "Moral Vacancy" of the Right.

It gets worse. Now Glenn Back is pushing for Sept. 28th to be a day of fasting and prayer for republicons. That is Yom Kippur!
Reply
Now he is trying to steal a Jewish holy Day. It fits with Christian history, taking over some one else's religious holy days. But for purely political reasons?-

Personally, I believe the rise of Glenn Beck is symptomatic of a nation forfeiting all reason.

It's like when you were in high school ... you had the Smart Kids ... the Jocks ... and the Class Clowns.
Glenn Beck is the "Class Clown".
But he's a stand-in for all who are like him ... Rush Limbaugh for instance ... people who say outrageous things for effect.
For E F F E C T.
The 'Smart Kids' could have created a fantastic class presentation ... and the Class Clown could completely wreck it with a few choice ... over-the-top snarky remarks.
This is a 'dumbing down' experience.
And now ... this is writ large for an entire nation.
Serious journalism is ... "Too Square" for Modern Republicans ... they prefer to listen and obey ... the Class Clowns.
And the "Dumbing Down" experience we all knew in High School ... is now ever present ... as a daily expression ... and given voice to ... by Mainstream Media.
Remember, it is not Mainstream Media's mission to 'educate' ... but rather ... to grab attention.
But many who's attention has been grabbed ... mistake it for an 'educating experience'.

Goebbles Mormon Beck is one more mullah selling trailer trash the values invented in billionaire sponsored extremist think tanks for their consumption, like insurance monopoly is patriotic, and public option is communist. Only a complete hillbilly idiot would believe that, but there's a repugnimoron born every minute.
Reply
The Goebbles Becks, and other employees of the foreign national Billionaire anti=amercian tabloid mogul Grand Ahatola Murdock, issuing his fatwahs to murder doctors, has his Mullahs foment maximum paranoia and racism to the brainless repug terrorist evangelical cells. Then they act shocked when some whack nut repug carries out their programmed violence.
The repugs are not the ones fighting and dying in the wars they create for war profiteering and to further christian zionism. They are the cowards sending 4000 americans to their death for a neocon lie.
Greed is good, Goebbles Beck never turned down an opportunity to sell snake oil to racist right wing nutters in his mormon life. Extremism in the name of greed is no vice. -

Glenn Beck is the product of a society that's schism (breakdown) include the clinically insane as credible talk show hosts. He's a cross between a Ted Swaggart (evangelical preacher) and a sissy skinhead (person who incites racial violence and hatred but is to cowardly to do it himself). And deranged and gullible people identify with that type of over the edge personalities.

But I've got to admit he was right about McCain. Well, even a stopped watch gets the time right once a day.-

Beck is crazy like a fox. Watch him closely. He apes many people who nailed emotional appeal for personal gain. He is a master impersonator--except he only borrows their spiel and mannerisms and does it with his own voice. He tears up like Jimmy Swaggert, gets serious like Chet Huntley, preaches like Billy Graham--he's watched them all and stolen their bags of tricks. Now he just picks his issues, puts on a persona, and watches them lap it up. He's a showman, people.

The obsession the Right has for Barrack Obama,
Reply
- is strangely balanced by a disinterest
in the men of worth on their own side.
John Mccain is an American Conservative;
- not for a check-list of talk-points,
but for values affirmed through a long life of
serious service.
So also, Colin Powell.
They and less-impressive but equaly serious politicians
such as Romney, Guilliani, and Steele?
- trail behind the Republican parade led by talk-show hosts.
Beck; Rush; O'Reilly; Savage; Coulter;
- brush aside the McCain's and Powells as flimsy moderates.
Palin was a genius .
She saw it meant nothing that she was a governor.
The important quality, the only quality,
the overiding quality,
- was to talk. -

You are, as usual, mistaken.

We are not using Beck.
We have no use for him.
No; we are pointing out that he talks nonsense;
- and discussing the various genetic, spiritual,
and political defects that led him to this sad state.
My personal belief is that he so easily
attacks McCain, for the same reason <byou have no
interest in McCain or Powell or even Steele.
Real and serious people,
even of the right, - bore and shame you.
And you are right to feel that way.
Really, stick with the Palin types.

Welcome to the Tim McVey show, highlighting the racist core of the terrorist repug cells. Today, we interview the repug evangelical terrorist who shot a doctor in kansas, called to do so by Bill O the fixed noise clown puppet of the foreign national Billionaire Murdock, our grand Ahatola we worship each day as our lard and savior.

My stomach can't handle too much Beck at one time, but I saw some interesting videos for Beck.
Reply
One year ago he's saying, "I thought about it an awful lot this weekend, and while it takes me - it takes everything in me to say this, I think the bailout is the right thing do.
"The 'Real Story' is: The $700 billion that you're hearing about now is not only, I believe, necessary, it is also not nearly enough, and all of the weasels in Washington know it."
And another video from yesterday where he's saying he hated Bush for starting the bailouts. What a flip-flopping entertainer. However, he knows he can say anything because his followers won't remember his past contradictions. -

If Glen Beck thinks John McCain would have been worse,as president, than the Left-Wing Progresive Liberal-Communist Obama, he has lost all his marbles. I always thought he had some sense. With him it looks like it's all about how much money he can make. I will never listen to his radio program or watch him on TV again. I was going to buy a couple of his books. Not Now.

I know John McCain has his faults, but to say Hillary Clinton would make a better president is just crazy.-

Never mind that a McCain election would have unleashed a power struggle within the GOP that would have led to little or no response to the economic collapse. We might now know what a depression would feel like. Instead Republicans have chosen simply to obfuscate the issues. To obstruct whenever possible and to stand on the sidelines the rest of the way and hope as does their de facto leader Limbaugh that the Dems fail. But we are a long, long way from Nov. '10. Counting on such a strategy carries a tremendous downside as well. For if the economy is on the rebound at the time of the next election they will be unable to take any of the credit. All they will be able to do is look at the deficit numbers (which they used to disdain) and squawk. Then what they once decried as unimportant and meaningless will be their only platform.

Hillary or McCain would have been worse than Obama.
Reply
The two of them would have merely--slightly--bumped up the temperature on the complacent "frogs in the pot."
Obama scalded their sorry asses and woke them up.
How like Bill Clinton. Amazing potential...flushed down the toilet bowl of history amid a flurry of extreme left willful stupidity. -

I have never liked McCain's policies and I do think he may well have been worse than Obama. Neither man garnered my vote last year.

CNN, owned by the largest media empire in the world, publishes Time Magazine. Time Magazine just put Goebbles Beck on the cover and gave him a 100% positive article, with no mention of calling the president of the united states a racist, or his sponsors dropping him out of his insanity and racism.
Reply
But, being the consistant right wing lemming, you go along with the blatant lie that CNN is a liberal media outlet. CNN is a right wing tool of the pentagon, selling wars and constantly striving for a ballance of middle of the right wing conservative, just like its owners, an army of board controlled billionaires, only intrested in selling commercials to the right of middle.
If you think CNN is a liberal organization, owned by Time Warner, the same as owns AOL/Propeller, then you are either stupid or just another teabag bellowing liar. -
