Mark Sanford, disgraced for lying about his affair with an Argentian woman, has secured a book deal with Ballantine Books, an imprint of Random House. Known for bucking the trend of stand-by-my-man political spouses, Jenny plans to write an “inspirational memoir” that “will grapple with the universal issue of maintaining integrity and a sense of self during life's difficult times,” the publisher said Tuesday. Jenny moved out of the governor’s mansion with their four sons but has said they are working on staying together.
