A valid birth certificate - as I understand it - must have the hospital and delivering doctor's name. Or SOMEONE'S name that witnessed the actual birth. Mine does. Yours? The Barry's does not. So, NO - it doesn't really satisfy me. It - looks - like an attempt to hide something. If you have paid close attention, you will have seen remarks on various sources from people who WERE born in Hawaii at about that same time - they have birth certificates that look much different than the one that has been shown around as "proving" The Barry was born in Hawaii. Your claim that it "satisfies" anyone is nothing more than that: your claim. I don't know that it's true. And besides, WHAT drivers license? WHAT passport? Has anyone seen any of those? What about his school records? Anyone seen any of those? No? No? Why not? (answer: because The Barry is spending a LOT of money to KEEP people from seeing them. Seriously, that doesn't raise a yellow flag for you? If not, why not? Are you that gullible? Or don't you understand that the only reason ANYONE would spend that kind of money to keep something hidden is if THEY DON'T WANT ANYONE TO SEE IT! THINK! If you can.)

      From Urbanlegends.com:

""It's a valid Hawaii state birth certificate," said Hawaii Department of Health spokesperson Janice Okubo when queried by the St. Petersburg Times' PolitiFact.com website in June 2008. The actual physical document was scrutinized a month later by researchers at FactCheck.org (see hi-res images), who determined it had been duly signed, sealed, and certified by the state registrar, and "meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship.

According to both the Hawaii.gov website and a June 6, 2009 article in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, the computer-generated Certification of Live Birth is the only kind of birth record currently issued by the state (original records are stored electronically), so the distinction between "long-form" and "short-form" is moot. When a Hawaii citizen requests a certified copy of his or her birth certificate from the state, a Certification of Live Birth — what people are calling a "short-form" — is what they get. It contains "all the information needed by all federal government agencies for transactions requiring a birth certificate," affirms Health Department spokesperson Janice Okubo."

It does NOT however, appear to contain the doctor's name who delivered the child, nor the name of any witnesses who may have been present. Those records SHOULD be available and ARE on the long form. I don't give a rat's ass WHAT might be sufficient for a passport - I am concerned about what satisfies a CONSTITUTIONAL requirement for the person holding the office of President to have been a "native born" American. I think there is enough uncertainty to make Obama offer proof. Yet - he spends millions of dollars on lawyers trying to HIDE the proof. I don't understand how ANYONE could fail to be bothered by that.

Google is a marvelous tool I suggest you learn to use it. There are, I believe TWO suits currently pending that Obama is paying lawyers to defend that seek to cause him to PROVE he is a "natural born" citizen. Instead of just showing a proper birth certificate that has a hospital name, a doctor's name, and a witness - he is shelling out lots and lots of money for lawyers. I've seen one estimate that claims his legal expenses fighting to PREVENT anyone from seeing that document are getting up around a million dollars. And it ain't over yet.
