Why is the Left So Angry at Blacks Who Love America? »

CNN might be feeling the loss of viewers. Fox is kicking everyone's butt so they may be trying to add a little balance to their biased reporting.
Reply
I do have to give CNN credit for having Ron Paul on more the Fox. The Republicans don't want to pull their collective heads out of the sand and admit that Ron Paul even exists. -

Seriously I would rather belittle someone for voting or thinking like a Republican than worry about their skin color. There are plenty of lily white folks who have voted against their own economic interests for decades, those are the people I truly question.
Reply
What happens to a black person who votes differently than 96% of their race? The one I know has no black friends in or outside of work and attends a evangelical church that is 98% white. I suppose those are the consequences. They are no longer truly part of the black community. Who in the black community is he going to discuss with him what Rush said that day? He does get front row seats at GOP functions and got seats very close at the 2nd Bush inaugural when he showed up at Sen. Graham's office seeing if he could get upgraded. Get's the real token treatment.
But he doesn't have any worries about his physical safety. You are surely kidding yourself there. No one is going to behead him. L@UOL! -

The typical collectivists on the left are known for their ad hominem insulting and denigrating attacks on anyone not following their Marxist orthodoxy. It's not just blacks but American indians as well.
Reply
My niece scolded me for using the term "indian," saying I should say native American. I told her I was born here, so I am a native American. She couldn't reconcile that with what her Marxist professor taught her (he admitted to being a Marxist). I pointed her to the Lakota web site and she read the statements of Russell Means, president of the Lakotas, saying that the term "native American" was demeaning and preferred to be called Indian. Needless to say, Russell Means has been the brunt of ad hominem attacks, especially when he spoke at the Libertarian convention a few years ago.

One, I refer to myself as an American rather than a hyphenated African-American. Two, the tea party protests are against President Obama's policies, not his race. The protesters are decent hardworking concerned citizens. Three, the American people are not racist.
These statements inspired immediate outrage from the so-called tolerant and compassionate liberal-left. An email from a self proclaimed Marxist threatened physical harm to me. He also vowed to destroy my music career and me personally. A creative leftist called me a “Toxic Negro”. Another called me a “sell out”. The “you're a minstrel” and “do you tap dance too” comments in one email were interesting. Less creative e-mailers expressed their outrage towards me by using the typical “F” and “N” bombs every other word, including my favorite, “Who the expletive do you think you are?” Now, if I can create a hit song using my hate mail, that would be sweet capitalistic revenge.
I received angry emails from blacks that said I should be ashamed of myself. Apparently, they believe my not resenting whites and America is a betrayal of my blackness. I no longer feel the need to be patient with racist blacks. Just as we do not tolerate the KKK and white supremacists, we should not give a pass to racist blacks. Racism is evil...period.
I am continually amazed by the Left's anger at me for saying America and it's people are good and that I love my country. Why should these statements inspire such rage? It appears the liberal-left hates all who love America. They particularly despise patriotic minorities.
Folks, thanks for your prayers and numerous emails expressing your thanks and support. My strength and peace comes from knowing I am on the right side and in God's Will. Also, my delete key is my friend.

I think the problem here is the left can't understand anyone who loves the United States. But they have a real leadership problem when it comes to the hate of America. Over the last few days we've had a former president, a man who had control over the world's greatest military ever, claim we're all that is evil and willingly stands with the dictators and terrorists. Of course I'm talking about Jimmy Carter and most of his former administration.
Reply
I think that's the real problem. The Dems of today have been taught to hate America through our schools, media and entertainers. It was "cool" to attack America or make fun of our country. Other than 9-11, when has this country been truly united in anything since World War II? We need to start really teaching how others live in this world. Slavery is alive and well in Africa. Honor killings still happen in Islamic regions. Socialized medicine doesn't increase or improve your life in most other countries. Free speech is only free when you have a nation like the United States protecting it. America is the stuff dreams are made of or at least it used to be. I'd like to see us return to a nation where you can do just about anything without the government needing to be involved.
Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.-

That's great, BB64. Whenever we manage to revamp the Constitution, all of the above should be expressly prohibited. Just a few words says so much. -

Here' is your response to the assertion that Liberals Hate America! FU to U!
Reply
Carter is old, half senile and ****** (rightfully) at the way history will remember him. For he had a President who is highly regarded as a great American follow him and resolve the crisis that destroyed Carters presidency by illicitly trading arms with terrorists.
Odd the tiny amount of support Carter's words received in the liberal community. With few exceptions they were called over the top and simply untrue. Obama directly rejected the assertion. Yet you attempt to tie his words to all liberals. Be clear that there is virulent racism at the Farthest Right. And Sharpton, much to the Left of obama has used race as an excuse for years. But it is wrong to blanket everyone on the Right or Left in that manner.
It is not "cool" to attack America or make fun of this country. Dissent is an entirely different matter. You want to go back to the Wild West Days of lawlessness, so be it. The rest of us would rather move forward.
We were not the party of Watergate or Iran-Contra either. All you are doing here is stating Reagan's view of America. It was (and still is) as phony as the man himself.

Please explain how Republican sent racist e-mails of the White House as a watermelon patch, posters by tea-baggers of Obama as an African witch doctor, Republican made and distributed racist recordings, racist death threats against Michelle Obama and her children, disrespectful shouter Wilson's ties to the White Supremacist group Sons of the Confederate Veterans, and Jeff sessions ties to the KKK AREN'T racist in any way.

Please tell us Americans your "explanation" how there is no racial component to your overwhelming hatred.
Please tell us, America would REALLY like to hear THIS one.-

really stupid accusation.
theres a reason why minorities stay away from the GOP in huge numbers.
maybe the cons need to figure out those reasons rather than trying to point fingers at everybody else. cause those accusations are just dumb. nobody is buying it.-

NoWayMan, how do you account for the hatred spewed at Lloyd Marcus that he describes? If you can't get the article to show up (I still can't), see the reply of "Patience" [that's his pen name] to gwhiddon; I presume it's the same article, and the events it describes are very ugly--every bit as bad as what the KKK and nazis say about African Americans.
Reply
By the way, which reason did you have in mind for minorities staying away? Is it the fact that right wing racists and bigots vote mostly Republican? What do you suggest the GOP do about that?

Delusion knows no racial boundaries. You have a few blacks who are republicans or far right extremists but the majority of them know that racism is still alive and kicking in the republican party. That's why there are so few of them in GOP. When the tea baggers demonstrate their racism with their T-shirts and placards, I haven't heard the repudiation from the republicans. In fact, they welcome them to the fold because the republicans can only attract the extreme fringe elements of America.

I can't see why sonofreason's reply to you was removed, Natureboy. (I don't even know what "Hard Banned" means!) All he seemed to do was agree with you before his comment was removed.

By the way, who were you responding to, Natureboy? I searched up there for leading questions but found none that were right up against the left hand margin.

Book: Ethnic America

A distinguished economist traces the history of nine American ethnic groups--the Irish, the Germans, the Jews, the Italians, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Blacks, the Puerto Ricans, and the Mexicans--in order to explain their varied experiences in adapting to American society.

He has published both scholarly and popular articles and books on economics, and is currently a scholar in residence at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
===============
"Race talk often portrays black Americans as downtrodden and deserving of white people’s help and sympathy. That vision is an insult of major proportions. As a group, black Americans have made some of the greatest gains, over the highest hurdles, in the shortest span of time than any other racial group in mankind’s history. This unprecedented progress can be seen through several measures."

The two gentlemen (Sowell and Williams) quoted above are two men who love America and are black. So far, there are four people (donald51, juvel, mesodude, and antibrainwasher) who gave negative votes to them. That's OK, guys; there are many more on the left who don't like them, either.
