In essence, the 4th Circuit just gave credence to these bullies from the WBC. The 4th Circuit just said in the name of free speech, it is acceptable, though distasteful and disgraceful, for people to publicly mock the military and the entire US because their "free speech" rights must be protected. Shouldn't the parents of the slain soldier have rights too? Weren't their rights violated by the evil Phelps cronies? Phelps-Roper and the whole weenie Klan from WBC must be enjoying their victory.

So the judges are saying that because 'they' get it that what Phelps says is ridiculous, everyone will get it? Conversely, their decision showed THEM to be rather dumb.

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Free speech allows stupid people to say stupid things, at stupid times. Having the brain to understand when and where things AREN'T stupid is the duty of every citizen.

Why aren't people protesting the WBC??? Put some heat on THEM!
