Don Imus was on Fox News today hyping his new Fox Business show, and as he and Neil Cavuto were discussing Sarah Palin Imus said, “She should have had enough sense to know she wasn’t ready for primetime…to sit down and not be able to get through an interview with that little rodent over at CBS, Katie Couric is absurd.”

  She had a picture of someone shown her,
  and she was asked 'do you know who it is?"
  
  She didn't.
  
  it was a muslim girl killed in a race incident in Europe.
  And that was the iranian response to criticism about
  beating and shooting their protesters.
  
  Several people and commentators,
  and now you, have compared that to when couric asked
  Palin simple little questions like,
  "what newspapers do you read?" and
  Palin couldn't think of any.
  
  On the plus side,
  - it is nice that you cheer Ahmadinejad.
  
  It's like those americans who cheered the rumour
  that Sarcozy insulted Obama a few days ago.

    Are you talking about the right celebrating the 'supposed' insult Is that when Obama was referred to as being 'tanned' and the Chicago thing?
    
    First off, I call the 'taned' comment an insult don;t you?
    
    But back to my point, I think the celebration per se is more about the possibility for Obama to take the opportunity of the 'insult' and the loss to realize he isn't as well loved as he took for granted that he was, and just showing up and acting as arrogantly or more so than what Bush did will garner him the same results.
    
    In the end ChiTown not winning the Olympics is not all bad,,,,, though some make money (usually home owners renting their homes for big bucks) and local business. the 'Olympic village' always loses a lot of money,,,,, you have to spend most of the earnings up front building infrastructure for the event (a big tax bill is not needed in the NE right now),,,,, then you toss in the mega disruption of being able to get to work, along with most not being able to afford the mega cost of events. Watching this on TV may be a blessing for Chicago,,,,,,,,,,,

    No, she got what she deserved because she reported the incident herself and when shown the picture she didn't recognize it. Tell the whole story, not just a piece to suit your own agenda. And I am not comparing this to anything regarding the Palin interview. And I am not cheering Ahmadinejad, whatever gave you THAT idea? You're making things up as you go along.

I heard about what Ahmadinejad did to her, how did she handle it?

I don't like it when all these TV people call everyone names, it ends up as part of the society and everyone thinks it's ok to call everyone names.

  Couric didn't call anyone a name. She asked a vice-presidential candidate a couple of questions that were legitimate to ask vice-presidential candidates.
