I absolutely don't believe the hype. For one thing, the "family values" lie has been exposed big time. Consider the following:

A) Newt, Vitter, Ensign, Sanford, Craig, Foley, Haggard--all these disgusting trolls have been outed and con leadership is not calling for any investigations or anything like that.
B) The GOP has changed a lot since '94. Unfortunately, none of this change has been for the better. The GOP thumbed its nose at the electorate on issue after issue and there's only so many times people will be fooled by fear mongering and race baiting.
C)Sarah Palin? Bobby Jindal? Eric Cantor? Michael Steele? Michele Bachmann (I'll leave Ensign, Vitter, Sanford and Wilson out of this)? THIS is what the GOP has to offer America? OMFG
