A newspaper report that Gulf Arab states are in secret talks to replace the U.S. dollar in the trading of oil is wrong, Saudi Arabia's central bank chief said on Tuesday.

    Well I wouldn't bet any of my shekels that they won't get tired of throwing money down the drain. It would actualy make far more sense for them to keep their oil safely underground.

      one of the reasons why they (Americans) invaded Iraq was because they no longer used American currency and with their vast untapped oil reserves confiscated it made sure they would be using it.
      Iran already uses the Euro.
