Police say Madison and a co-defendant used computers and a radio scanner to track police movements and then passed on that information to protesters using cell phones and the social networking site Twitter. Madison is being charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution, criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of instruments of crime. Exactly one week later, Madison's New York home was raided by FBI agents, who conducted a sixteen-hour search. We speak to Elliot Madison and his attorney, Martin Stolar.

Obama is in office. The erosion of constitutional rights continues unabated.
Don't deceive yourselves by thinking you're going to vote this away. Don't be fooled into thinking one party or the other is going to protect you from the violence of the state.
Make friends and get ready. -

What does this story have to do with Republicans? The questions that arise from this article are constitutional and legal ones. If getting older and fatter as you say, makes one indifferent to these matters, then i hope i never get old. In your case I guess ignorance is bliss, that's why you sit around "cracking up" all the time.

I guess the police "and their special powers" don't like technology in the hands of those they oppose. Even if their opposition is staying within their legal rights.

What is scarier is the fact that the police, nationally and in general, have become a shoot first ask questions later force. This trend has been escalating for many years now. Tasers have made them even more dangerous and reckless.
Of course, these stories need to be continually pushed to the front page so that EVERYONE is made aware of the blatant disregard for our liberties and constitutional freedoms.
