It's nice that the author wants to welcome everyone to our nation but a nation without borders is not a nation. If the president truly wants to destroy the Democratic party, destroy all of the immigration laws. Let anyone in. Restrict no one. Isn't that his goal? The destruction of the United States we knew and the creation of a banana republic you find in a third world country? If he pushes this through, we may be seeing the last Emperor, I mean president.

Why is it that we let "corporations" go anywhere in the world they wish (and invest enormous amounts in trying to guarantee that they can - including "protection" by our military), but human beings hould not be able to do so? Shouldn't real right-wing believers in "freedom" be calling for unlimited ability of humans to go whereever they want?
Don't forget that prior to WWI (less than a century ago), there were NO passports and humanity did indeed roam the world at will.

And then we have Janet Napolitano ... clearly Barack Obama had a brain-fart when nominating her as head of Homeland Security. She announced this week plans to remove illegal aliens from prison and put them into converted hotels or nursing homes. It's being called "Alternatives to Detention" and includes the hotel option as well as actually releasing some illegal aliens and merely have them supervised by the government.
Just another step towards complete amnesty for every illegal in this country. That's the left's real aim here, pure and simple.
