NASA 'bombs' the moon in search of water. Scientists saw a spacecraft slamming into the moon's south pole at 9,000 kmph kicking up a 10-km-high shower of debris that NASA hopes will confirm the presence of enough water necessary to supply future visits by astronauts

    Geez, it's not bad enough we've screwed up earth, now we gotta go "shoot for the moon".....WHY?

      Not sure why we're shooting the Moon to see if there is water, since all we did with Mars was send a probe... maybe we have an unresolved issue with the Moon?
