USA-Trashed »
Posted By Striker101 2 months, 1 week ago in Political NewsThe morning I'm in Texas, where it is raining, dark and gloomy, made much worse because this day began with the news that Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Also, to add insult to injury, on this same morning we learned that an effort is begun to impeach Obama.
We are saddled with a government of force which has trashed our Constitution and cannot be made to abide by it. Yet we the people continue to abide by the Constitution and to obey the laws of this government? At what point will it dawn on us that we are heading the wrong way on a one-way street.

"If we are to have a government, let it be not to rule, not to deny the human mind, but to join and protect the citizens of a nation from other nations and from one-another, with totally voluntary individual consent.

Yeah ... this is what all my cousins say in Tennessee.
Reply
Of course, most of them are upset at having the police arrest them for any number of criminal acts.
Small government is simply unattainable. The alternative is to have individual fiefdoms ... like in the Medieval days.
Only today ... each little fiefdom would be run by the most powerful corporation.
Look ... if you want to reduce the size of government ... if you are really serious ... Demand ... DEMAND ... that we stop spending so much on the Military Infrastructure.
You could slash your taxes by up to 25% ... and and equal amount of government spending.

I'm really impressed with the entire article, but especially like:
Reply
"We the Humans have ceded our brains and our wills... to whom? To some humans who exist only to control others; to rule your life, to negate your Right to Life but preserve their own; to determine your morality, your god, your choices of banks, insurance, automobiles, schools, political parties... and even manipulate the time of day! To humans who insist they have some "right" to tell all others how to live their lives, yet contribute nothing of value to your life."
The reason all this is coming to a head at this time, IMHO, is that political corruption has reached a saturation point, indeed, seems to have totally eradicated all sense of reality, decency, integrity, honesty, and honor.-

"All sense of reality, decency, integrity, honesty, and honor"?
Not in me, my friend, and not in any Conservative who holds true to the principles on which this glorious and unique nation was founded.
To you, and to all Conservatives I say, "Be strong, be strong, and let us strengthen one another". -

You are correct. Humans HAVE ceded their brains and their wills.
Reply
This is done through television ... and talk radio.
Interestingly .. it was a foreigner who came to America and succeeded in getting so many Americans to cede their brain ... and their will ... to his ideals.
His name is Rupert Murdoch ... The Un-American that so many pretentious right wingers follow.

An incredibly pessimistic article with one shining ray at the end....

At this crossroad, there is no turning back, so you must choose between the left fork or the right fork or to STRAIGHT AHEAD to true Liberty." -

"We are saddled with a government of force which has trashed our Constitution and cannot be made to abide by it."
--Your Constitution was trashed way the hell before Obama got elected and you weren't "saddled" with squat. If you gave a crap about the Constitution then you would stop behaving like constipated *ssholes and respect what the ELECTORATE decided last November. But you DON'T give a crap about the Constitution. You only care about Constitutional law when it serves your interest. When you want to buy as many guns as possible or when you want to inflame racial tensions and incite violence or commit treason.
"Yet we the people continue to abide by the Constitution and to obey the laws of this government? At what point will it dawn on us that we are heading the wrong way on a one-way street."
-Again, you have a bizarre way of demonstrating your respect for the Constitution. The fact is, you don't care about the Constitution. You care about getting your way. If the ELECTORATE rejects you and your agenda, the people have spoken and you must accept that. That's the mature, adult, and American thing to do. The appropriate time to change government is during ELECTIONS. What is so hard for cons to accept about this? We HAVE a legitimate process in place for putting those people into power we want running our country. We DID that last fall. More Americans were against YOUR agenda than were for it so now it's time for you to regroup and prepare for the NEXT election.-

There is the liberal ignoring what the constitution says.
Reply
Amendment 10
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
So tell me where in the constitution does it delegate to the federal government the following:
health and human services
housing and urban developement
energy
education
environmental protection
These are all cabinet level positions and consume a large part of the budget. Where is health care in the constitution. Especially a law REQUIRING EVERYBODY to get insurance or pay a heavy tax. Refusal to pay that tax will be a fine of $250,000 and 1 year in jail. This alone should be unconstitutional. But the liberals just want to ram it down the throat of all Americans. Anybody that objects are called all sorts of evil names by YOU.
For example:
"mesodude
How can you call yourself ringleader of the propeller neocon prostitution" -

An article by a crazy for the crazy. I always get a kick out of those that think that their society can survive without structure. possibly if you lived in an area with very few people, you might survive. even small tribes in the wild assume some sort of structure/government. the larger the society... the larger the structure. An Utopian society would be great... but sadly unattainable, due to the fact people are required to populate it.

I've never been a love it or leave it kind of American, because I believe that part of what makes America unique is our unique ability to dissent without fear of arrest or deportation. But I do have to wonder about people who clearly hate America and what she stands for and why they are still here. If you want to secede, I don't know that you'd get that big of a fight anymore. Take Texas and leave the rest of us be. I certainly wouldn't care at this point. You can destroy your own country....go for it. Just leave the rest of us alone while you do.

The US Constitution is something that the liberals fought to preserve under Bush and were called "traitors" for our effort. When we protested the erosion of privacy rights and free speech rights, we were told to pack our bags. When we became outraged the the VP used his office's influence to have a political rival's CIA wife outed, we were told we were anti-American. The list goes on and on, but it all boils down to the fact that the LIBERALS were the defenders of the Constitution during the reign of the biggest enemy of the Constitution that our nation has ever seen...George W. Bush.
But now......NOW...under Obama..who is actually trying to HELP AMERICANS......HE is the one you people want to pin the erosion of the Constitution on? After all these years of outright violations, you want to call HIM and his administration the violators?
That's rich.-

People have been chipping away at the Constitution at least since 1913 with The Fed. FDR began using the hammer and sickle of collectivism, and those intrusions have grown with every administration and every Congress since, and yes that includes GWB.

But when you somehow believe that Obama's rush to totalitarianism is helping rather than destroying every component of Liberty, you are saying that you are quite willing to sacrifice your mind and your freedom and your right to life. If that's what you wish, fine. But you have no right to use the Force inherent in government to destroy others.
Everything written in the Declaration of Independence is at at risk. You know, those words Life, Liberty and Happiness? America is at a standoff which cannot remain unresolved. -

Could you please name the ways in which you know Obama is trying to help Americans. If you say affordable health care, I will laugh in your face because his "plan" will not care for more than are now cared for, and the cost will be much greater.
Reply
If you say foreign relations, I will again laugh in your face because he has made us the laughing stock of the world, not that I care, but you guys sure do seem like cheerleaders for non-Americans. You cannot name a single thing that you tout about his "caring" for Americans. He has done exactly nothing to make you believe that. He has done things however that threaten your safety and your liberties, but obviously you cannot see that or you don't care. Either way, I'm glad you aren't on MY side.

Well there's an 'opinion' of interest. Seems a day late and a dollar short, however. Did he forget to submit it when bush boy was paying 30+ million to hallyolburton to build detention centers? Or when bush boy was eavesdropping on Americans? Or when bush boy was writing all them thar 'executive orders'. Or when bush boy was trashing habeous corpus? Or when bush boy was padding our dept. of 'in'justice with third rate graduates from a fundie so called 'university'? Or when bush boy got all excited over the prospect of arresting Americans without due process?
Reply
He submits this NOW? Ya gotta be kidding me! -

Impeaching would be the dumbest thing ever.
Reply
Those who voted for him need to see him to the end of his term. They need to understand what they voted for, so they can make wiser decisions in future elections.
It is destructive to America to even discuss impeachment.
And remember, sometimes there are unexpected effects.
Like Biden being president, and Pelosi next in line.-

While I agree with you about impeachment, young lady.....please tell me what makes you think those who voted for Obama did not understand AND WANT what they voted for? I believe you're making an assumption that's unsupported by any factual evidence, and coming to a conclusion (that those who voted for Obama are capable of admitting they made a mistake and correcting their behavior) that's unsupported by history.
