The Council of Trent was called in order for the Catholic Church to respond to what it saw as the heresies of the Protestant Reformation, particularly the doctrines put forth by Martin Luther and John Calvin.

I do not believe in things the Catholic Church requires of it practioners. Jesus Christ is my Lord not them !!!
No Catholic priest can forgive my sins for he is not God, nor does he know if I have repented or not. That is just one of the problems I have with their ideas.
They seem to try to put back the curtain that Jesus Christ tore when He died for us. I need no one but Jesus Christ to intervene with God for me. No one else can do it so it would be worthless to waste their time trying.

It is the choice of any Person to seek God according to their own mind.

As long as it doesn't require breaking the Peace. ( I will add here that this would include violent religious acts)
Maybe we should just learn to "Get Along" and not try to make any Laws respecting religion?
That sort of Law just seems like the sort of thing a Free Man would naturally hate. Such a Law by it's very nature imposes on personal freedoms...
Worship or not ...as you choose ...how you choose...It's the Law.
I like that Law...:)
