As thousands gathered Sunday in Washington for a march and rally focused on gay rights issues, lawmakers showed that some of the demonstrators' key goals face major obstacles ahead.

Stabenow and Casey are two hypocrites from the same pod. They both want money from gays and lesbians and our votes, but they are unwilling to listen or even consider our fight. They firmly believe that being gay relegates a person to second class status. If they really believed in equality, they would not be dragging their heels on ENDA or ending DADT. As for the repeal of DOMA, they are all for marriage as long as it remains an exclusive club. Leave it to heteros to wreck it. If they want to save and preserve marriage, then end divorce!

Other threads were criticizing FOX news (see "White House: Fox News Is 'A Wing Of The Republican Party' posted by Tumultuou and "Obama administration *finally* treating Fox News like the douchebags they are" posted by Arena22) as biased reporting, yet I did see the reports of the march there.

Could it possibly be that this march was critical of O.B.A.M.A's failure to keep his promises to Gays, therefore not worthy of reporting except by the hated and maligned Fox News Channel?

The headline is about OBAMA's gay rights goals.
I'm not sure, comparing his words to his actions, that he has any real "Gay rights goals."
They are actually human rights goals, but lets let that pass for now.
I'm guessing that the demonstrators are LGBT and friends marching for THEIR goals, not necessarily Obama's.
Lets support THEIR goals.
