    They were very lucky to have made it.
    Thanks Sad about the crash but at least they made it. Alot of people get lost in the gulf and don't.

      It's both luck AND pilot's proficiency (which I applaud) that he made a successful emergency landing(?)in sea.

      However, I'm a little troubled by the fact that either the airplane's ELT was not activated (eventough of course it doesn't work any more once the plane has sunk, but even more troubled by the fact that,
      1. the pilot didn't have a portable ELT or ELB, which would have made it much faster, easier and surer to rescue him, and,
      2. there didn't seem to have been live jackets for all on board.
      Both those facts, IF TRUTH, do indicate a gross negligence from that same pilot.
