Posted By pacodecabra 1 month, 2 weeks ago in ReligionJohn Calvin was one of the pillars of the Protestant Reformation, and as such his teachings have had a tremendous influence on many aspects of society all the way to the present day. Like all other Protestant leaders, Calvin believed that salvation came by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. This was what set all Protestants apart from the teachings of the Catholic Church.
