Swastika, Obama’s name carved into golf course green »
Posted By Progressive 2 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsThe Secret Service has been called in to investigate a swastika found carved into the grounds at the Lakeville Country Club next to the name of President Obama.
“It’s being investigated,” said Steven Ricciardi, the special agent in charge for the Secret Service’s Boston office. He declined further comment.
Country club grounds keepers found the letter “I,” a swastika and the name “Obama” dug into the green at the 18th hole early yesterday morning, said golf course owner Gary Mosca.

Who ever did this was either a complete moron or so devilishly clever as to be beyond funny.
If this is a message in some way indicating hatred of our President or attempting to protest the President, then they are a complete moron. Why? Because the Swastika is CLOCKWISE in direction. This is the proper position of a Swastika, the position in which it is found in major religions all over the world and all through history. The symbology attached is all positive, in the most expressive manner. The Swastika used by the Nazis was COUNTER-CLOCKWISE.
Thus, this is either the work of a moron who tried to intuit in some way that they think Mr. Obama is a Nazi and screwed it up because of their ignorance or this is the work of someone who is in some manner stating an extreme positive about Mr. Obama but using symbology that would be so vague and misinterpreted as to ensure it was noticed (and then recognized by only a few...and thus the joke).-

I think you're reading too much into this. The religious symbol can go either way, at least in India before WWII although it is usually clockwise (arms bent to the left). Although since WWII it is always clockwise to prevent confusion with the German swistika.
