"She told me she is going to be starting a firm with her dad and sister," said one friend of Mary's, with whom she has shared her plans.

    FTA:

"Why can't he learn how to play golf?" said one senior Republican consultant. "It was good enough for Agnew. Why is it not good enough for Dick Cheney? Seriously, he should be working the Jackson Hole/Palm Spings circuit."

The consultant expected that the Cheney firm would receive lots of business from international clients. "Lots of right-wing dictators," said the consultant...

Mary's sister Elizabeth appears to want to be a mover and a shaker. Of course with daddy and his connections, she was able to plant herself in positions over the years that would normally have been preserved for those who paid their dues first. And she appears to be a top notch spin artist in the CON party. Daddy taught her well.
As for Mary, I have a problem with someone who is so easily swayed to work against the rights of others. Mary is all safe and sound in her little power bubble, so she hasn't had to live the realities of bigotry that her contemporaries have encountered. If she ends up in a hospital, you can bet her partner will get in to see her. Her kids will be insulated from public schools & the bigotry of their school mates. She won't be fired for being gay. She won't be denied housing for being gay. Her daddy's power will give her plenty of insulation from the real world.
But aside from that, even if she weren't 'gay', I couldn't respect anyone who goes along with the propaganda that her sister spouts. So for that reason alone, I'll just say Mary is yet another CON, who fancies herself better than others who share her sexual identity.
