It would be fantastic to find out that they can possibly find a cause and a possible cure for MS. I watched my brother in law suffer and eventually die of primary progressive MS. He suffered terribly for several years. One side of the family seems to have a propensity for auto immune diseases so possibly this would help in a lot of cases.

Thanks so much for the article. I developed fibromyalgia after a bout with mono at age 19. My daughter, who is a teen, suffered severe symptoms following a mono infection. She now has neurologic symptoms, lupus and/or rheumatoid symptoms with positive hematologic work-up, and a dysfunction of her autonomic nervous system. The past almost two years have been a medical nightmare. My mother is severely crippled from RA, so I was aware of the lack of knowledge a majority of the medical community has regarding post-EB infections and autoimmune diseases in general. But my eyes are wide open now, and I so appreciate information such as this article. Godspeed all.

Wake up everyone! When a mother is pregnant with sufficient Vitamin D then her baby is MUCH less likely to get MS.

Ask your doctor to test your Vitamin D levels. Either they dont know the importance of this or they just dont care. We must make sure we are well informed about things in order to protect ourselves. Sad, but true.
