Let me weigh this out..hmmm,texas needs to be part of the U.S. for taxes,security,education,and on and on.....The U.S. needs texas for what ..hmmmm,..lets see..well maybe for...nope..Beautiful redheaded woman,yep that is it..Please don't go unless you send them north ...then CYA..!!!

Texans are Americans first and foremost and in reality I'm not certain Texas could secede, even if we wanted to.

The secession claim is just a way to show our discontent of how the US has been run for a very long time. In the end the idea of it does sound good to many on both sides, but it's not going to happen.
Texas will not leave. I want to now offer you congratulations or condolences for that whichever the case may be.
