didnt you read the story? LOSING WEIGHT DOES NOT IMPROVE SOME PEOPLES SLEEP APNEA. PEOPLE WHO HAVE APNEA NEED CPAP OR BIPAP WITH OR WITH OUT OXYGEN. MACHINES PRESCRIBED BY THEIR SLEEP DOCTOR ONLY, TO HELP THE AIR WAY FLOW. TO MAKE THE PATIENT BREATHE AGAIN WHEN HE OR SHE HAS AN APNEA CESSION. IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON. I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST 200 PDS AND STILL NEED THE MACHINE. I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD ALL SURGERIES AVAIBLE FOR SLEEP APNEA, AND STILL HAVE SLEEP APNEA. SOME IF WORKS FOR SOME IT DOESNT. AND WHEN ALL FAILS THEY NEED THE MACHINE. [ CERT. SLEEP TECH}

Sleep apnea is a very scary condition that can have horrendous consequences if left untreated. If you have a loved one with sleep apnea, please ask them to get help.
