"No, no, Bob is doing a good job," the president told the crowd at the University of New Orleans. "Bobby, if it makes you feel any better i get that all the time," he continued, and the crowd laughed.
More seriously, he added, "Even though we have our differences politically, one thing I will say is that this person is working hard on behalf of the state, and you gotta give people credit for working hard." This time, the audience cheered. -

One of the best measures of a politician is how well they are (or are not) liked in their home state or district. The people who are directly affected by their job performance are the ones who know them best. That is why, when people try and rise up and run for the presidency, we should all look at those who know them best to see if they are worthy of support. If more people did that, Rudy Giuliani would have never made it past the bidding stage. New Yorkers (most of them anyway) really hated him and said he only had one good day in his career and thank God it happened to coincide with 9/11. The same holds true for Jindal. With talk of him possibly running for the GOP nomination, the nation really needs to look at his state and see how they feel about him. Obviously, he isn't doing a very good job on the state level or he'd be more popular there. And if he can't handle governing LA, how can he handle the entire country?

I think it's great that Obama took the high road and defended him against the jeers, but THEY are who know him. The rest of us should take note. -

A town hall meeting where all of the people are hand picked Democrats and very pro Obama. Maybe a select small group of moderates and Republicans. Just like always. Could not have a good mixture of people that would give Obama a hard time could you. LOL
What a joke!!!

Just keep playing politics, democrats and republicans and you will keep getting the same crap. They are the same , wake up people, they are all owned by special interest and lobbiest, none of them work for you, they work for the power and control they can get over you. They are all the same, doesnt matter, the only way to take back our country is to vote them out and keep voting them out until they learn they work for us. There is no reason for our taxes to be this high. What is going out of your paycheck every week for taxes is not all that your paying in taxes, a gallon of gas alone has about 1.00 of taxes between federal and state, your food, your clothes , your car , your house, everything you own you paid taxes you could see and taxes that were embeded in the making of the product. Still they think they are not getting enough of your money, is it any wonder why there are poor in America? they are taxing us all to death and its all about the power, they can continue to take more and more of your money in taxes and there is nothing we can do to stop them until we all join together , stop playing the left and right game with these idiots and VOTE THEM ALL OUT and keep doing that until we get people who work for us again, then get this entire system fixed. The reason why nothing ever gets better is we keep playing their party games. Vote for the person who actually believes what you believe in, actually listen to what these people say and look at what they have done in the past and get informed, its time to vote them all out. Want to see how alike they are go to www.ourcaucus.com and watch the videos, we have all been duped into buying this republican democrat crap, stop read educate yourself and then vote them all out.

better yet, make it illegal for a lawyer to be a politician, 99.9 % of all politicians are lawyers,,,is why everything comes with fine print and loop holes.

some down to earth people are needed in Gov, like mechanics, farmers, housewives, etc., people who know more about everyday living and are practical.

They are there for their handlers. Not for us.
Cheer for one, boo for the other. They probably go back stage a quaff a cold one together and laugh at the suckers who buy into the play !!
In the meantime their controllers the corporations are gaining more power daily.
Quite a shame that most will not see the real problem over the make believe problems.
But hey don't worry about it. They almost have us where they want us now !!! Civil war between the right and left with the winners being those who end up wiping out our hope of any decent future for America as it was meant to be !!!! -
