New York bank foreclosures in the housing sector increased in September and in the third quarter. Almost 15,300 foreclosure notices were filed in New York in the August to September quarter.

        This is just another sign of proof that the recession is about over (so say the pundits). Amazing how the stock market continues to rise with all its phony financials while everything else is doom and gloom.
