Typical right wing doom and gloom ranting. The print media supported by the government and non-profit organizations is exactly what has to be done in this current climate. Capitalism and imperialism are leading the country to hell. The country has to be jerked away from the idea of private profiteering activities that benefit only a few into a more collective vision of government support for the public good. Government sponsored newspapers can do this, reducing the objective of making profit and by getting the clear administration message out. In order to advance the Obama agenda and remake America, and to cut through the lying, baseless opposition, the government needs more vehicles to promote its progressive stance.
