It's been a long time coming,40 years, but kudo's to these brave vets who served with distinction, and courageously for our country, and hat's off to the President for recognizing their brave and noble deeds. Especially to those who didn't come back to they're loved ones during that terrible war; R.I.P. Bravo!

    :o)

The Dog's Face was an NVA base area. It was riddled with multi level tunnel systems and bunkers that were immune to air strikes. Most of those men were draftees who knew the war was already lost. They weren't fighting to sooth the egos of the elites who started that misbegotten fiasco. They weren't fighting for those who called them "babykillers". They went in there to help out their brothers in arms who were in trouble.

It is good to see friendship rewarded.

Obama to the rescue. What a President! Perhaps the Republicans will gain insight into what great Presidents are made up of. Let us hope. They keep trying to heap garbage upon us.

All that's left is to see how the Right is going to spin this into somehow being a bad thing.

Any guesses? I'm going with: "It's just a photo-op moment to suck up to veterans."

            --or--

"I wonder how many of Troop A, First Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment were Obama campaign contributors?"
