"In the speech, Mr. Cheney charged that President Obama has 'filled the air with vague and useless platitude' when talking about torture and by calling enhanced interrogation techniques 'torture" he has committed 'libel' against CIA interrogators whom Mr. Cheney described as 'dedicated professionals who acted honorably and well, in our country’s name and in our country’s cause,'" Carpenter adds.
Cheney's full comments Wednesday:
In short, to call enhanced interrogation a program of torture is not only to disregard the program’s legal underpinnings and safeguards. Such accusations are a libel against dedicated professionals who acted honorably and well, in our country’s name and in our country’s cause. What’s more, to completely rule out enhanced interrogation in the future, in favor of half-measures, is unwise in the extreme. In the fight against terrorism, there is no middle ground, and half-measures keep you half exposed.

Do you deny that Mr. Cheney said these things? It is easily verified.
Do you doubt that the U.S. has prosecuted foreigners for war crimes for waterboarding our troops?
Do you doubt that these techniques were copied from regimes we have derided for human rights abuses in the past?

Crespi.Are you saying you still don't have a grasp on 911? First how old were you on 911?,I'm thinking juvenile or senile.There were four planes hijacked by ninteen Muslims extremest,two of them flew into the the towers as reported live on ABC news network,with a CNN feed,no right wing reporting here.I watched it live on said network,along with my wife.I have no personal knowledge of the so called plane that hit the pentagon,but the same net said it was a third plane.About the fourth plane that was forced down in Pennsylvania by the passengers,you will have to draw your own conclusions.If you believe this a Bush,Cheney conspiracy,then go with it,and enjoy,and remember when people at you,they also laughed at the three stooges
