I'm dropping this one too. We've seen this before. Term limits proposed under a Democratic president, but then not acting on it when a Republican was president.

Those "principles" should have been there all along, but this is more of the same old from the party that gave us Newt. -

Term limits should not be necessary, but voters simply are not able to rid themselves of the dead weight in Congress on either side of the aisle. The laws are created to keep and maintain that dead weight.

It's hard to get something like this through. It's a rare politician who wants to even hear the words "term limits". Term limits is a must, but also needed is states' rights returned to the states and our use of tax dollars MUST be re-vamped. People say, "You can't do everything at once. It takes time to do all this". Hogwash! If it isn't done NOW and in a timely fashion, it's going to be too late to do ANY of it. Our economy is crumbling, our businesses are hurting, people are out of work, and Congress is responsible for all of it because they couldn't get the job done. O.K. NOW IS THE TIME! Good for Jim!
