    I've got to disagree with Sax on one point. He may be correct that there are a larger number of very good Jewish delis in LA than in NYC these days, but the best pastrami sandwich anywhere is still at Katz's on Houston, hands down.

    Incidentally, Chicago hasn't had a real Jewish deli for over 20 years. And I can't even imagine looking for one in San Francisco or Denver.
