Actually, this is an unconstitutional decree issued by an unelected and unconfirmed commiczar. So Congress should set everyone's pay, including yours? This pay cut decree doesn't even leave a provision for making executive pay commensurate with performance.

If the government can dictate what your paycheck is to be, isn't that the first nail in the coffin for the death of capitalism? What next, are they going to dictate what kind of car I can drive, or whether I choose to have health insurance or not? Naw, it can't happen in America, or can it?

And I thought that companies were allowed to pay their top people what it takes to keep the top talent in the field they can get.

I guess the government wants these companies led by mediocre people. That way they will never get out from under their thumb. -
