Kathleen Parker provides at least a more thoughtful argument than I've seen before in defense of the senators who voted against the franken amendment in today's Washington Post.

Apparently you foolish nincompoops never found out that while Frankedn was giving a lying speech about what his amendment said, Jamie Leigh Jones was in court after a ruling that the arbitration clause did not apply. She is suing the company and anybody else her lawyers can find. The ruling that gave the go ahead was Sept. 16.

It appears that kent13304, Wolfie2007, avoth, and RTHTGakaRoland all think it is ok for any company - especially ones that receive government contracts - to perpetrate rape and other crimes against its employees or anyone else.

In their defense I don't think they are pro rape. They are however against anything that is promoted by the Democratic majority in the House and Senate. There are no shades of gray with these guys either you're a conservative or you're evil.
