Posted By BronxBomber 1 month, 1 week ago in NewsVenezuela - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez told citizens to limit their showers to three minutes because the country is having problems supplying water and electricity. Some people sing in the shower half an hour, he said during a televised cabinet meeting. No kids, three minutes is more than enough. I’ve counted, three minutes, and I don’t stink. My Fellow Americans: Chavez said he doesn't stink. That's a matter of opinion. O doesn't think so, he and Chavez are trying to get into the same shower together. Or is it, they are both in the same bed? Tell us O does Chavez Stink?

Plenty of east coast cities and CA have water restrictions as well. Someone asking people to take shorter showers to preserve limited water supplies isn't a large surprise. It's only going to happen more often as wars begin to be fought even more over water. Even within the US.

My little city has been on Phase Two water rationing since the drought in the '80s. It sets limits on lawn watering, car washing, etc. The citizens have responded so well, we just kept it on the books as our way of conserving water for the future.

I'm sure everyone here has read the predictions about the next world war being over water, and no, that is not a joke. Haven't you been reading about the severe water shortages now taking place in Southeast Asia? It's not going to get better, folks.
Turn that faucet off while you brush your teeth!!! :-)
