Once again Endo you have no idea what you're talking about. local law enforcement officials have never been allowed to enforce immigration laws until recently and then only with special training and Immigration approval. The best they could do is notify immigration that they believed an individual arrested for a crime was illegal and then Immigration would make the decision as to whether or not to detain for possible deportation. This has nothing to do with "libs" or "cons". Then you wonder why people say you have no credibility.

Translated: quit picking on illegal aliens.
Sheriff Arpaio just happens to be doing his job too well, and that is obviously NOT what the Justice Department wants. I don't believe they ever have. After 20 years in Immigration as Border Patrolman, then criminal investigator, my husband retired when he finally could not tolerate how things were done (or NOT done).
Our government leaders are deadly. They give soldiers guns, send them out to war, then criminalize them if they hurt anyone. They give their law enforcement agencies guns and tell them to enforce various laws - then throw up roadblocks to that job actually getting done. They tell hospitals and businesses they must cut costs - then pile on so many regulations that it costs an arm and a leg to comply. They set minimum wages (which I believe are illegal and always have been), then cannot understand why joblessness rises. DUH!
Go, Sheriff Arpaie! Do your best for us citizens and our nation - our leaders in DC are doing everything they can get away with to keep you from it, but GO! GO! GO! I see this action of theirs as a wedge they have willingly placed between themselves and we, the public. -

FTA: As reported earlier by CNSNews.com, the Hispanic Congressional Caucus has asked the Obama administration to terminate the 287(g) program because it claims the program uses racial profiling to target immigrant communities.

Another big DUH! How DARE they look for Mexican names and Mexican features when looking for illegal aliens from Mexico! HOW DARE THEY! They probably also take note if the person knows English, and what language the person speaks.....oops more profiling. Cutting the fence wires to gain entry to the US - more profiling ..... it could have been an American citizen who was just in a hurry to get home.
Is there any way anyone can imagine being more stupid than the people we have placed in places of responsibility in our government. Are we a stupid populace, or what?-

How dare they assume someone is a criminal based purely on how they look.
How dare they pull over American Citizens because they have brown skin to question them as if they are criminals despite their never having done anything.
