My Fellow American: Oh! I forgot Alakazam, The Middle Eastern Camel Herder. I know you don't use light bulbs in your big tents so it is difficult to explain real technology to you but I will try.

Incandescent lighting is the closest to natural sun light we have. Let's start with your eyes. Since fluorescent lighting has be invented and presented in the 1930.s at the World's Fair more and more people have been wearing glasses. Too much light from the bulbs keeps the pupils of the eyes closed down causing eye strain. The stress from closing down the pupils during an 8 hour or more day puts stress on the neck muscles, causes headaches. Cathodes creating the energy to excite the inner gases also put out ultra violet radiation causing cancer, loss of vitamins and minerals from the skin, dry skin, hair loss, a weakening of the immune system, and an array of illnesses. Living in a tent in the middle of an Oasis you would not have this knowledge.
As far as more difficult to find Oil. What a side splitter. It is everywhere. Unfortunately the EPA makes a lot of money pretending that it is too nasty to play with, too difficult to find, and harmful to the Environment. Shooting Rockets at the Moon is Much Safer. Well! unless one of the now loosen chunks comes drifting toward earth. You can then forget about Oil, Fans, Mirrors, and your Life.

I am sitting on a Hill in Tennessee...Where are you?
Incandescent produces UV too...don't be obtuse.
For someone who professes to be an American...you do not sound like one a bit.
I'll catch you on another thread...and right soon
:)
