Stanford's use to be our old favorite standby. There was nothing more infuriating than being asked if we wanted cheesy bread with our salad, odd as that may seem. The perception was why are you asking me if I want a 20-cent product...just give it to me like you use to. Then, when the Monterey Kruse Burger disappeared, the prices jumped and competed with NYC prices, and the menu became just another chain restaurant, we left. Perhaps we'll give it another try...
