This reminds me of Pres. Reagan's attempt to show how dangerous abortion was compared to childbirth, and when the report showed childbirth was exponentially more dangerous, they shelved the report. -

Strokes have been happening to women on the pill since the pill was first introduced. A colleague's wife, a young and beautiful woman who wanted to wait a year or so before having children, was left an emotional wreck, partially-paralyzed, with no hope for the future except life as tragedy.

This was in 1970.
The pill has been wrecking lives ever since the thing was approved for general use. Rather like Thalidomide in the 1960s, responsible for uncounted birth defects.
Do NOT take medications for "convenience" but only for specific problems. All medications are serious and toxic - to the condition they aim/claim to treat, and sometimes to life itself. -
