Looks like the Golden Arches are packing up and moving out of Iceland. Oh what will the people of Iceland do when they crave a Big Mac? The nearest location is somewhere in Scotland or Ireland. Good luck getting there and back during lunch hour.

I think that the problem with last McD restaurant was that the franchise company had to contractually undertake that all goods for its restaurant will be imported from Germany. This applied not only for packaging but also for all ingredients, meat and cheese and everything that is added to the sandwiches.
