Right now, I do not agree with the graphic, but only because I didn't see the source of the statistics.

If it is true, nearly one-third of the country went bankrupt. Seriously? I have a hard time believing this.
And if its a joke story/article, please disregard.-

I would agree that the stat is impossible. That is one/third of all Americans going bankrupt. That includes children, babies, etc........

I points to how data is claimed, used, manipulated, etc... to support/prop up a message. All such data should be scrutinized before any weight is attached to it.

The graphic says 1.07 million--I imagine the decimal point got dropped in the summary, either by the submitter or by some sort of Propeller glitch.
