I sometimes feel as if the negotiations were nothing but a reason not to have to act. When the only result of the Bangkok consultations is once again: "Nice that we´ve talked about it!", this is definitely not enough. The problem is that the developed countries, even if they wanted, can´t stop the climate change alone. They need the help of those nations which have just started to industrialize and to contribute to pollution. It´s not hard to understand that they aren´t arent the ones to be very interested in CO2-reduction at the moment.

A story from a radical group on a radical web site. What has been happening to the average temperature? It peaked in 1998 and has been lower or static since. The Ocean temperatures are falling. The Antarctica ice is growing except where the active volcanoes are. The theory of greenhouse gasses has been shown to be incorrect the way the atmosphere works. Mans addition to them is 3% of the total and all of the ideas would only drop it to 1%. A trivial difference.
