I watch Keith Olbermann as often as I can. He is my Edward R. Murrow. I cannot say the same for anyone at FOX News .....and it really has less to do with ideology than the simple fact that the points on Olbermann's show can backed up with research of the facts, whereas NONE of the shows at FOX can. It really IS that simple!

C'mon mesodude. I constantly see you make comments about doing someone's research for them. Fire up your googler and type in "Olbermann" and "lies". Look up chicken and waffles while you're at it. His racist comments are allowed on NFL broadcasts with no repercussions. Just the other day he made a comment about Lieberman that told about the million dollars that Joe had accepted from some lobby in the last 5 years. He followed up that perfectly fine statement with the innuendo: "And that's all that we know about". He backhandedly accused Lieberman of taking bribes without proof. Ask Keith for his proof of that one mesodude and I will know that you are not a shill like Olbermann.

Just the other day he pontificated for over an hour about how Obama "wrote in a thesis" while in college that he did not believe Constitution protects individual rights. After he found out the website he was siting was a spoof and that the President did not write such a thesis, Rushbo did not back up one bit...... A bigger man would have recognized his error and would have admitted his mistake.....but not Rush! ....saying that he "stands by" everything he said because, after all, he said, "we know that's what Obama really believes...."

The truth is: The modern-day Republican Party very much takes its cues from the wacked-out paranoia of McCarthy and Olbermann is correctly calling them on their BS. So, yes, I consider him a modern day Edward R. Murrow.

Here's the part that describes the lie:

Sarah Palin never literally used the word "socialist" to describe what happened in her state.
It was a lie to say that she used the word. Not the truth.

I find it hard to believe that O'Reilly beats Olbermann in 18-34. But then, they aren't watching O'Reilly OR Olbermann....they are watching Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.....AND they are more informed than the average FOX viewer....
