I'm not really surprised.

It's irritating to realize that there are impediments everywhere to the citizenry being heard. Plus on top of that apparently countries and even US states have vaults and laws which make pursuit perhaps futile.
So much for "The Rule of Law".
The vaults are sealed until after one's death. Up until this, that seemed reasonable.-

From the article:
Reply
“The writ of quo warranto must be brought within the District of Columbia because President Obama holds office within that district,” Judge Carter added.
The rule of law says to file a suit within the proper jurisdiction. There's no impediment to the citizenry being heard here except for the lack of a competent lawyer bringing the suit. -

Actually Beau, the lawyer is probably not incompetent, but rather highly partisan (and hired to be so).

The gullible can be excited to all kinds of nonsense by an "intended" throwing out of a lawsuit in a wrong jurisdiction. We have seen many repetitions already of similar "ploys" by the right-wing propaganda generators. -

A positive for you Wolfie!

As a result of all the Warsaw Pact documents that became available we now know that the Soviet Union already abandoned the "arms race" in the late 1960s (hence all the treaties from the early 1970s). This made it clear that Reagan's whole "star wars program" was based on phony "intelligence propaganda" (in part manufactured by some of the same murdering charlatans that later did the same for Iraq) and amounted to nothing more than a massive program of corruption payoffs to the "military-industrial complex.
You should spend some time reading what serious historians now know about the "cold war" from studying documentation that has become available from both sides. A good place to start is the "Parallel History Project" run by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (their MIT). Amongst the many other topics, you might like to read about how our CIA collaborated with right-wing terrorist groups to carry out bombings in Europe that were blamed on "leftists" in the media.

Fact is Wolfie, the reign of disinformation and scare tactics used to sucker us into the phony war in Iraq was very similar to the reign of disinformation and scare tactics used by Reagan to prolong the Cold War by many years.

When the judge says the case can set dates for a hearing, it's a sure sign Obama's a foreign-born Muslims. When the judge says there's no standing, it must be some kind of liberal-conspiracy.

Ridiculous. Keep those ridiculous, wasteful lawsuits coming. -

As he should have. President Obama was born in Hawaii, which is a state in the United States.

The nuts will still try to prove he is a foreigner......but then 99.9999% of their conspiracies have absolutely no basis in reality (I'll give them the possibility of .0001%). -

Those who have stood up to Obama have sat down with
the fishes.
Which shows if you lay down with pigs you will
not bring home the bacon; - you will sit next
to Kevin, who knows the frequency?
And it is a well-known internet fact that Obama has spent
millions (of your tax dollars) to photoshop
a perfect long-form birth certificate with
the embossed seal and will soon get it right .
Also the voices tell me that Hawaii is really a Sumerian kingdom anyway,
- but who knows with voices sometimes they are
crazier than birthers but othertimes they are just dim. -

If you are going to have an issue with the President, let it be an argument over policy. This whole birth certificate thing is a red herring. You do realize that one cannot even get a passport without a birth certificate, don't you? President Obama IS a US citizen.... Nothing that has been put forward so far proves otherwise.....
Reply
Now if you want to take a position on policy....go for it. In fact, I wish we WOULD have a real debate on the issues. Unfortunately, the Republicans are doing a p*ss-poor of job articulating an opposing argument ....to anything (Just opposing anything and everything from the President and the Democratic Party is NOT good enough). You have to give people a reason to vote FOR a good alternative. So far, the GOP has failed miserably.... -

tadair, as the judge said (quoted from the article):

A DC Federal District court would be the right arena. Not the courtroom in which Orly Taitz chose to file suit.
