And Rumple4skin what I have to say about Paul is that I wish he wold run as an Independent. He was the best in the Republican bunch last year and would have been the best running if he had run as an Independent.
I am not a Republican nor am I a Democrat. But I do believe America needs a moral, ethical, knowledgeable man or woman to head up this country for the people, The GOP nor the Dems are going to do it, the Party owes to much to the International Cabal that owns our Government.
I heard a man on C-Span give almost the very same reasons for getting rid of the Fed as Paul.
Actually the Guy wanted to place the Fed under Treasury if the Feb couldn't be eliminated.-

Paul tried running as a Libertarian candidate in 1988(?) and received the typical number of votes 3rd party candidates received. He realized that change could only come from within one of the two parties. His philosophy is that of our founding fathers and he is a firm believer in the U.S. Constitution.
Reply
Of course, that places him outside both party platforms. He was virtually ostracized during the 2008 Republican presidential primaries, his common sense answers to some of the questions edited out in Fox's replays because they embarrassed the other candidates.
Other than Obama, he was the only other candidate to attract young voters in great numbers. His web site and web-based fund raising was attributed to the young adults.
His campaign web site has become the CampaignForLiberty web site. Some Republicans, having had their butts whipped in the last two major elections, are moving to his thinking. The main stream Republicans still don't like him.

We can all be wrong ADAGUY.

How many were wrong about Obama?
How many were wrong about Bush?
How many were wrong about Clinton?
How many were wrong about Bush Sr.
Twenty years of being wrong and looks like four more coming.
What we need to be doing is getting rid of the Party, therein lies the problem. We only get to vote on the Party selection and they don't let the "outsiders" spell that Paul, have a chance, they want a Party man.
The GOP and Dems have had their chance too many times and all turned out bad.
I think we need an Independent - one who is not the Party flag bearer. -

Trust not Men...They will only let you down.
Trust the Facts.
What do you know and what is fair and legal.
A Legislature cannot vote Usury into Law. Yet there are Some who have.
When do you say no?
What really crosses the Line and what can you do about it?

Some, or maybe all, may know what I have written here. In discussions I have had face to face, most people aren't knowledgeable.

In the article, Paul makes reference to hyperinflation if the banks begin loaning the doubled amount of paper currency that the Treasury has printed. This used to be called the multiplier effect, or velocity of currency. The more currency changes hands, the more it acts as if there is a greater amount of currency. Conversely, the less it circulates, it appears that there is less money available.
If the doubled amount of currency starts circulating, we will see prices rise as there will be more currency than there are goods.
Paul also references legal tender laws. Up until a few decades ago, our paper currency was redeemable in lawful money, just like the checks we write. The government simply made the paper federal reserve notes legal tender and refused to redeem them in gold and silver.
There are many ads on TV for people to buy gold, mainly because of the anticipated high inflation once the economy begins recovery. Paul points out that precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, and palladium) are subject to capital gains taxes, although it would probably be difficult for the government to tax those holding a relatively small amount of coins that get used in transactions. Foreign currencies may be a better alternative but most aren't more secure than the dollar. -

Its a good idea but everyone who has come up against the fed has saw his plight fall on deaf ears, most americans are to ignorant to comprehend the system, the fed is an international cartel who have their hands on anything that makes money, our own government is and has always been in the elite circle of the cartel, how else could they print money from thin air !

I ask all of you to read the following statement made by the Mayor of NYC many years ago:
Reply
"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses generally referred to as 'international bankers.' This little coterie... run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...[and] seizes...our executive officers... legislative bodies... schools... courts... newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.--John F. Hyland Mayor of New York City (1918-1925)"
This is what I am alluding to when I speak of the Shadow Government. Today's Shadow Government includes the Neo-Con influence, and our Two Parties.
Our two Parties, Republican and Democrat are actually functional arms of this International Financial Cartel. They use their influence over their members to frame American policy that supports the aims of the Cartel - what I call the Shadow Government. This Government rules most of the world and remains in the deep background, but as the Mayor early in the 20th Century observed, their tentacles are in every thing.
I have proposed ways to get rid of the Two Headed Monster in Washington, and thus make it possible to cut the binding chains of the Shadow Government.
Rather than agree to try what I propose, most people would rather point out why it won't work, rather than turn against their party and get rid of them.
And it won't work unless a sufficient number of people want it to. It is very simple and would absolutely work:
Select a Political Party and shun them out of existence. I have suggested starting with the Republican Party since it is the weakest currently and at the same time the people should begin forming a viable coalition of Independents to replace the GOP. Once this is accomplished we can go after the Democrats, but we have to get one at a time.
Just never ever again vote for a Republican Candidate. Within a couple of election cycles they will cease to be relevant and people of moral and ethical character can be running candidates from the Independent Coalition. Capture the White House and 20% of both the Senate and the House and we the people will have the power to impose the Constitutional Law once again and we can eliminate any corruption that exists.
It really is that simple.
