Once upon a time Charbucks discerned a marketing edge from the patina of preciousness. Although they have endured longer than Crocs, they soon too will fade away.

It's for the same reason why GE tags their smallest capacity washing machine "Extra Large". Would anyone buy it if it said "Small"? It's all designed to target the less fortunate thought challenged masses. Also like 2.99.9 for a gallon of gas. Really $3.00 but all the consumer sees is the "2", $2 is less than $3, right? :-)

So this guy's blog is about the strongest caffeine-containing beverage, yet have a "drug free world" sponsor ad?

          Dropped - for hypocrisy.

I would like to add this is like one of dumbest and most pointless articles I have read in a long time, the question why does Star Bucks call a small a large, is like asking um do fish drown in water, or better yet its called making money, now if your calling a small a large, I can now charge a 200% higher rate than an average small because on a cognitive level you are now associating that cup with a large with means more to us, as oppose to small which means less. So why does Star Bucks call a small a large um question is simple to charge you more for coffee, some of these bloggers are complete idiots and morons I swear and this is one of them.

Beyond that, I wonder why people frequent Starbucks and rave about its coffee.

It's generally overroasted and really just not that good. Besides the fact that they are really nothing more or less than the McDonalds of the coffee bean, with the corporate ethics to go with.

Do yourselves a favor, hunt down a local and locally owned coffee shop. Enjoy food and drink with character and keep your money in your community.
