Massachusetts sued in July, saying that law is discriminatory and deprives gay couples in the state of some federal spousal benefits.

President Obama did not need to have the AG enforce this law that stringently if he were truly opposed to it. Consider that he is not actively rounding up marijuana users in states with medical marijuana laws. The President is paying lip service to gays and lesbians so he can stay in the favor of religious leaders from whom he will need votes in the 2010 elections.

Well, you heard about the arsonist who was sent to a house fire with the volunteer fire department. He was beside himself trying decide if he should throw water on the fire or throw gasoline on the fire to make the house burn faster. This is Obama's approach to DOMA. He wants people to think he's throwing a bucket of water when he's really throwing gasoline.
