I have often use the term Kleptocracy to describe what I call the Shadow Government, that I insist is the "real" government of the United States and many of the countries around the World.
I look on the shadow Government as composed of the International Financial Cabal that imposes Financial serfdom on the citizens of the world.
Just a couple of days ago I posted a comment stating what the Mayor of NYC said about this Cabal in around 1920. I'll look it up and post it on this thread.-

I also included a quote by Napoleon concerning this Financial Cabal.

"The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses generally referred to as 'international bankers.' This little coterie... run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...[and] seizes...our executive officers... legislative bodies... schools... courts... newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.--John F. Hyland Mayor of New York City (1918-1925)"
When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes... Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain." - Napoleon Bonaparte, 1815

Engineer, your link is relevant and worthy. As the link suggests, great empires always fall to greed and immoral people, not the many, but the few.

Yet ironically, it is the many who are most responsible for the fall of their great civilization. What happens? The masses become complacent and don't pay heed to their responsibilities.
To keep their government in its ideal form, a Republic, the people must be ever vigilant of the immoral and unethical who worm their way into positions of decision making and over time thru their corruption and the corruptibility of others, they become an Oligarchy or Kleptocracy.
American is in that mode now.
We need to act soon to force out the immoral and unethical who are ruining our governent. We still have the wherewithal to do it at the ballot box, but voring either Republican or Democrat will solve nothing. Those two parties have become to ingrained in their power that no change is possible as long as they remain. Neither Party any longer allows the people to decide the course of the country.
Their sole purpose now is to perpetuate their empire of elitism as the people of America sink slowly into bondage.
The only way we can change the course of this country is to get rid of both the Republican and the Democratic Party. -
